Garlic Cheese Grits a La Boo

Ingredients

about 3 3/4 c. water

scant 2 c. grits

2 T butter

1 1/2 t salt

1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese

6 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 c. fresh parsley, minced

4 T. butter

Tabasco + salt to taste

Directions

Cook Old Fashioned Grits as directed--about 3 3/4 c. water to scant 2 c. grits, to which 2 T butter and 1 1/2 t salt added to water.
Add to almost ready grits: sharp cheddar cheese, minced garlic, minced fresh parsley, 4 T butter.
Add Tabasco + salt to taste

Notes

Great for either breakfast or side dish for dinner.
